Kinder 2 room (4-5 years old)

• General information
  Kinder 2 room is licensed for 27 children and two carers:
  one qualified kindergarten teacher and one assistant.
  Relief staff is always around if an extra hand is needed.
  
  
• Activities provided:
  Our homelike, interesting and varied environment provides consistency and encourages challenges in following areas:
  • Letterland:
    Dot-to-dot, tracing ABC activities, magnetic ABC… we are having fun with letters. We are singing along the ABC songs. We are making play dough A and mosaic Z, button B and pasta C.
    
    
  • FUNtastic Math:
    We don’t teach math we play math, by jumping and skip-counting, by folding and cutting snowflakes, and flying to the moon and back. Lots of fun during Interactive 30-minutes math sessions!
    
    
  • Ready to school:
    The program addresses the themes (recognising letters, writing and spelling) that children will normally come across during their prep at school.
    
    We encourage children to develop a routine in preparation for school the next year, as well as providing them endless educational resources that can be taken home (worksheets, pintables, drawings).
