Early Learning and Development Here at Rainbow Developmental Learning Centre we provide a child-centered developmental program in each room.

As each child is unique and develops in their own individual was, we have created a program based on the individual needs and interests of each child and also the group as a whole.

We do this through constant observations of each child, evaluate these observations and then plan activities linked to the interest and / or need.

We take the same steps in observing the group. The areas in which the program is based on are:
  • Fine Motor (small muscles development)
  • Gross Motor (large muscle development)
  • Social (e.g. learning to work co – operatively with other)
  • Emotional (e.g. self – esteem)
  • Cognitive (e.g. thinking and problem solving)
  • Language (e.g. communicating)
  • Creative Arts (e.g. painting, pasting, drawing and music and movement)
